Lahore (Special Reporter) Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Syal said that the second phase of the Chief Minister Internship Program is underway, through which the talented youth of the province will get ample opportunities to flourish in various fields.
These views were expressed by Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Syal while presiding over the meeting at Punjab Stadium. Director General Sports Punjab Khizr Afzal, Additional Secretary Mian Usman Ali, Director Admin Dr. M Kalam, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza and other officials participated in the meeting.
He said that the Chief Minister’s Internship Program is helping a lot in enhancing the skills of the youth and this factor will play a key role in getting them dignified employment.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Muzaffar Khan Syal said that work is ongoing on development schemes for the promotion of sports and healthy activities across the province.
The meeting also showed videos and documentaries of youths selected for Chief Minister Internship Program who are undergoing training in various institutes in Rescue 1122, Education Department etc.
In the meeting, the sports events of the South Asian Games held in Lahore were also reviewed.
In the meeting, Director General Sports Khizr Afzal Chaudhry and Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza gave a detailed briefing about sports development schemes, Chief Minister Internship Program and South Asian Games.
Apart from this, 170 sports schemes and 135 approved and 8 unapproved schemes were reviewed in detail in the meeting.
