This refers to Shakir Lakhani’s letter ‘Nothing Better to Do’ (15 November 2024). The author is absolutely right. Unfortunately, the people of this struggling land (for the most part) practice wishful thinking and daydreaming. We must not forget that there is no ‘free lunch’ in this day and age.
We must develop our strategy and work ethics according to global principles. If we all work with integrity and hard work, all wishful thinking and so called conspiracies will die a natural death.
