During the colder months, it becomes important for women to prioritize their health by staying active and energetic. Women are more prone to various gynecological health problems such as urinary tract infections (UTIs) or yeast infections.
These problems, if ignored, can lead to serious complications that can cause problems later in life. “A sudden drop in temperature can affect your immune system, making it more susceptible to these health problems. Make sure you stay warm and dry, as this can increase the risk of UTIs and yeast infections. It is very important to prevent the risk,” warns Dr. Seema Joshi, Senior Consultant Paediatrics and Adolescent Counsellor, Ankura Hospital, Pune.
