Angelina Jolie sparked an internet frenzy after skipping her only sibling James Haven’s nuptials over the summer.
Insiders confirmed. Only Jared Wednesday, Jan. 1, Haven, 51, married longtime friend Rumi Ambelli on Aug. 12 in Laguna Beach, California.
The intimate wedding ceremony, held for “close family members,” was attended by the groom’s father, Jon Voight. However, Hyun’s famous younger sister missed the opportunity.
The insider didn’t reveal why Jolie, who recently signed divorce papers with Brad Pitt to finalize their eight-year divorce battle, chose to snub Haven’s special moment.
However, speculation is rife on X, who earlier took to Twitter, citing jealousy or family issues as possible reasons for the actress’ absence from the wedding, with one user saying, “Because he will kiss the bride and not him.”
“Jealous,” added another user, referring to the siblings’ infamous kiss at the 2000 Oscars.
“Maybe because she wanted to be the one to kiss him again. But the bride won’t have it,” added a third user.
