What is a ‘Generation Beta’ child? – Such a TV

The term “Generation Beta” refers to the group of children born from 2025 to 2039.

This generation follows Gen Z and Millennials before them, marking the beginning of a new wave of youth shaped by 21st century technologies and advancements.

The concept was coined by futurist Mark McCrindle, who anticipates that beta children will grow up in a world where artificial intelligence, digital connectivity, and medical advances will play a central role in their lives.

Experts predict that Gen Beta will be “digitally fluent” from birth, deeply integrated into the rapidly evolving world of AI and technology. This generation will also likely witness major medical breakthroughs, including cures for previously incurable diseases. Their lives will be connected to new technologies.

In a historic moment for India, the country welcomed its first ‘Generation Son’ baby as a baby boy was born at Synod Hospital in Aizawl, capital of the northeastern state of Manipur, shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day.

Named Frankie Remruatdika Zadeng, the newborn entered the world at 12:03 AM, marking the beginning of a new era.

According to a nurse at the hospital, the baby weighed just over three kilograms at birth, described as healthy and without complications.

“They are in good health, and there is no problem,” the nurse was quoted as saying by All India Radio.

Frankie’s parents ZD Remruatsanga and his wife Ramzirmawii, residents of Khatla East in Aizawl, are overjoyed and proud of their son’s historic birth.

Expressing her happiness, Ramzarmavi said that it is a great honor to give birth to the first generation son in India. The couple also has an elder daughter.
