Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 7 Piece Cookware Set
This is one of those impossible questions. I have probably too much cookware to choose from and use and love. So, I’ll just say that I have a few pieces of stainless steel cookware from Le Creuset (a sauté pan, a couple skillets, a saucepan, a stock pot) and I treasure them quite a bit. They are very well made and functional, the lids seal well, and they perform well. They’re not cheap and probably not the best bang for your buck, but there’s no denying the quality. Le Creuset is often mentioned in conversations about enameled cast iron, but they deserve some recognition for the stainless line they produce. – Daniel GretzerEditorial Director
Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
It’s such an obvious choice, but my Le Creuset Dutch Oven is just my favorite cookware of all time. I won’t wax poetic about its uses, aesthetics, benefits, etc. It’s just the GOAT, and I won’t question it. – Tess ComanExecutive Editorial Director
My dutch oven is a permanent fixture on my stove. It can poach, boil, deep-fry, braise, steam and bake — basically all of that and then some. I have both 5.5- and 7.5-quart Dutch ovens, but I find myself reaching for the smaller oven more often. It’s easy to pick up and fits most recipes perfectly. – Ridley Gemperlein-ShameAssociate Editorial Director
Woolrath Carbon Steel Fry Pan
My carbon steel pan is my ride or die in the kitchen. Cast iron skillets get all the love, but carbon steel is just as good at retaining heat—and much lighter! I season my carbon steel pan with love, and it’s basically non-stick. This is my go-to skillet for almost everything! While my favorite (and our top pick) from Moville is out of stock, this is another great option from Vollrath. – Genevieve YamPak editor
