KARACHI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has vehemently denied the lies that claimed the country was not issuing visas to Pakistanis.
Speaking at an event in the port city, UAE Consul General Dr. Bakhit Atiq Al Ramithi said, “For two years, a lie has been spread that the UAE is not issuing visas to Pakistanis.”
“Anyone who wants to get a visa should come to the UAE visa center,” the ambassador added.
Reiterating the emirate’s support for Islamabad, Remithy said he had received orders from the government to stand with Pakistan.
Emphasizing that investments are being made, the Consul General said that in one to two months, there will be major positive developments in this regard.

Consul General Remithy’s assurance against the visa ban is not the first as the country had earlier rebuked such rumors in August.
