Two persons arrested for attacking police personnel in Korangi

District Korangi police on Wednesday arrested two suspects who were allegedly involved in assaulting policemen during an encounter earlier this week.

According to the police, the incident took place two to three days ago when a verbal altercation between law enforcement officers and a group of people turned into a physical confrontation.

Authorities retaliated and arrested two suspects, while the search for the remaining suspects is ongoing. One of the arrested accused, identified as Arshad, said the altercation started as a verbal spat before turning physical. He apologized for what he had done. A case of assault on police personnel has been registered and raids are on to nab the absconding accused.
