LAHORE: Lahore Police on Thursday arrested two suspects for torturing a 14-year-old boy. Ghalib Market Police detained the accused Javed and Asif for torturing Sunny. Sunny was employed in a house in Main Market Gulbarg for the past four months. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
Meanwhile, the Nadirabad check post police arrested accused Tahir and Salman as they were involved in aerial firing and public display of weapons. While Qila Gujjar Singh police also arrested drug dealer Nadeem Masih alias Sohni and recovered 100 liters of liquor from him.
Also, the Shadbagh police raided a godown and seized firecrackers. Accused Khizr Hayat used to manufacture and distribute crackers illegally in different areas despite the ban. Guldasht town check post police reunited 10-year-old Jason Masih safely with his parents after he left home to play and lost his way back. Dolphin squad arrested five wanted absconding accused Nadeem, Majid, Shakeel, Mubasher, Rashid and others from different areas of the city. The accused were wanted for serious crimes.
