Tim Allen, best known for voicing Buzz Lightyear in the popular Toy Story franchise, spill the beans with the upcoming fifth installment.
Sharing an interesting update about Toy Story 5 In an interview with Colliderthe 71-year-old actor revealed that he recently started recording sessions for the fan-favorite character.
“I did the first five-hour session just for the buzz, maybe a week ago,” Allen says, describing the experience of being back in the recording booth as “really, really weird.”
Reflecting on the process, Allen admitted to initially struggling to reprise the role he first brought to life in 1995. However, he noted, “After maybe two hours, I was buzzing.”
While the plot details for the latest Toy Story The film remains under wraps, with Allen teasing that the script is “a very clever story.”
“If they hadn’t come up with a brilliant script, they wouldn’t have done it, and they wouldn’t have invited me and Tom. [Hanks]” he added.
Allen voices Buzz Lightyear in All Four Men. Toy Story Films starting with the original in 1995, onwards Toy Story 2 (1999), Toy Story 3 (2010), et al Toy Story 4 (2019), along with various specials and short films.
