Timothée Chalamet and his A complete unknown Co-star Edward Norton worked hard to do justice to his on-screen personas.
at the Los Angeles premiere of the Bob Dylan biopic The Mound The star said Deadline that he and Norton would engage in “endless” conversations about honoring Dylan and Pete Seeger in the film.
“The best part is when you enjoy the raw material of it so much that you want to put more into it than there is room for,” Norton explains. “I think we wanted more Bob, more belly, more soul. [Baez] More than you can fit into a movie.”
Chalamet, 28, couldn’t agree more with his costar, adding, “It’s perfectly said.”
“We were kind of a threat to the gym because we were always trying to cover things and honor these amazing artists.” Wonka The actor continued. “One of my favorite things about Edward in the making of this film, and after, is that he really wanted to honor the spirit of Bob — who is alive and well — and Pete Seeger through this press.”
Directed by James Mangold, the film will hit theaters on December 25.
