“She had all the ingredients to make the lady at the Dollar Tree a Thanksgiving dinner,” she recalled. “So I asked her about it, and she was kind of surprised that I knew what she was doing. So to not make her feel bad, I was like, ‘Oh yeah, me too. Going to make it I’m struggling.”
She said she and a fellow customer had a “really good conversation” where she learned that she had originally planned to make only “frozen food” for Thanksgiving.
