The royal family has breathed a sigh of relief as a new documentary about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the UK, titled Harry – The Lost Prince, will not be available to watch in the UK.
The bombshell documentary, which follows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to step down as senior working royals in 2020, will not be released in the UK due to legal restrictions. Express.
The documentary, which will air on Germany’s ZDF network on December 3, will also shed light on Harry and Meghan’s “ongoing search for a meaningful role and its wider implications for the British monarchy”.
Speaking with the publication, the German network revealed that the documentary will not be broadcast in the UK, saying, “Access from abroad is not possible due to legal restrictions.”
Giving his two cents on the matter, one PR expert said that while the documentary may cause a stir, Harry and Meghan will not be bothered, saying it will be “water off a duck’s back”.
PR expert Lynn Kerr said mirror, “The new documentary will take water off a duck’s back. While they value their privacy and don’t enjoy having any control over what is said, they know that sometimes these documentaries will will be subject and biographers will always publish books about them.”
“From my understanding of the new TV documentary, Harry and Meghan are not part of it. [Instead]These are interviews with people who live close to him who may have worked with him before,” he added.
“Harry and Meghan don’t give their insight into their lives or their opinions.”
