King Charles’ office shared a message following an important update on Wednesday.
Back in October, Windsor Castle was disrupted when two masked intruders stole farm carts from the estate, minutes away from where Prince William and Kate Middleton live with their three children.
While the investigation is still ongoing, the palace posted a carousel of highlights from the festive event the Queen Consort attended ahead of the Christmas holidays, along with a message.
“Spread a wonderful festival!” The message began. “Earlier today, The Queen joined volunteers, staff and celebrity supporters for a Lunch Club dinner for the @RoyalVolService ‘Festive Spread’.
“The charity’s Christmas initiative encourages volunteers to provide festive lunches to those who may be spending the festive period alone,” he continued. “The Royal Voluntary Service is hosting more than 70 ‘Festive Spread’ events across the country, which guests can attend for free.”
The post comes after police released an update on the Windsor estate burglary.

Meanwhile, King Charles and Queen Camilla were not at home at the time of the incident.
