ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has said that a new batch of 300 Chromebooks has arrived for delivery to primary and high schools in Islamabad Capital Territory. Officials said this is an important step in the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance access and quality of education through technology.

The latest batch of Chromebooks — laptops that run Google Inc.’s Chrome operating system and are designed primarily for online use — brought the number of devices set for distribution to 1,000, he said. Lee.

According to officials, over the next 15 days, another 500 Chromebooks will be distributed to schools, further expanding the technological resources available to students. These Chromebooks will be used alongside digital interactive boards, transforming the traditional classroom setting into an interactive and technology-enabled learning environment.
