A birthday celebration for Cummings, held Sunday at Baltimore’s Unity Hall, was an opportunity for community members to join in on food, fellowship and conversation, and learn more about the politician and civil rights activist.
Congressman Cummings helped form ECYP with leaders in Maryland’s Jewish community, which for nearly 30 years has fostered youth leadership in the Black and Jewish communities within Maryland’s 7th Congressional District. Worked together.

Who was Elijah Cummings?
