ISLAMABAD: The Crafts Festival brought together artisans and craftsmen from across the country on Saturday, showcasing exquisite creations from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Organized by Serena Hotels in association with Nomad Art Gallery, the two-day event celebrated 40 years of Nomad’s contribution to art and culture.
It features a diverse array of jewellery, textiles and other handicraft treasures, highlighting the country’s rich cultural heritage and artistic excellence.
Austrian Ambassador Andrea Wieck, who was the chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of Serena Hotels and Nomad Art Gallery for their “unwavering commitment to the preservation and promotion of Pakistan’s cultural heritage”.
He emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and the role of such platforms in promoting mutual understanding and appreciation of artistic traditions.
