PESHAWAR: The Anti-Terrorism Court on Saturday handed over the accused arrested on charges of planning and facilitating terrorism to the police on three-day remand for further investigation.
Accused Muhammad Tayyab was produced before ATC Judge Muhammad Iqbal Khan where the investigating officer of the Counter Terrorism Department told the court that Muhammad Tayyab was a trained and active member of banned outfit TTP.
The official said the accused was planning attacks on police, security forces and law enforcement agencies in Peshawar and was arrested based on intelligence. The officer requested the court for the physical remand of the accused to gather information about his accomplices.
