PESHAWAR: A high-level meeting chaired by Army Chief General Asim Munir turned tense when Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had a bitter exchange.

During the heated discussion, the governor also expressed concern over the use of funds received from the federal government for counter-terrorism efforts in the province and questioned whether the police and CTD (Counter-Terrorism Department) could not afford to spend money despite the huge sums.
