Taylor Swift offered ‘No Wave’ tickets for $16 and resale sites have listed them at much higher prices.
The Swifties have sparked outrage over the associated fraud, as one fan wrote: “Imagine paying $15 for a seat and still hearing the best concert of your life.”
Fans took to social media to share screenshots of alleged online ticketing platforms.
One follower said on X: “Hey f** anyone who bought $15 Taylor Swift backstage tickets for Vancouver and is now reselling them for over a thousand dollars, I hope your tail will decrease.”
“They were snapped up and already listed on resale sites. I was in line and was kicked out saying it was sold out online. StubHub had about 200 tickets last night. were listed for resale and the number has doubled in the last hour,” added another. .
Outraged fans slammed the resellers for the fraudulent activity, as one added: “How are you allowed to resell $16 Taylor Swift tickets for $700++++ with zero view of the stage/screen? Granted, I only want to go once.”
What’s more, one of Taylor’s fans even noticed that tickets were being resold for $2,349, saying: “Glad more people can get tickets for $2500 to post immediately. “I was number 43 in the queue when the tickets sold out.”
For the uninitiated, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is her sixth ongoing concert. It began on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona and will conclude on December 8, 2024 in Vancouver.
