voice Season 26 experienced one of the most emotional nights of the season.
On the Tuesday, November 26, episode 17, Sylvain Simon made almost everyone in the venue cry, including judges Michael Bublé, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire.
The 20-year-old performed brilliantly during the play-off phase of the competition. Good luck, baby By Chapel Rowan.
What made his Tuesday emotional was the revelation that his father had recently passed away, a loss that left the coaches in tears.
“I know how brave you are,” Bublé, 49, told Simon after her performance. “I know you and your family are going through a lot. You just lost your father.”
“You said you’d stay because he wanted you here,” added the spicy margarita hitmaker.
Snoop, 53, stood up from his chair and said, “Your father’s spirit is telling me to hug you right now,” before adding, “I’m so proud of you right now.”
Cameras also caught McEntire and Stefani holding back tears as they watched Simon on stage.
However, despite giving an emotional and powerful performance, Simon did not make it to the show.
Bublé selected Sofronio Vasquez and Shye to advance to the next round, eliminating Jaukeem Fortson, Cameron Wright, and Simon from the competition.
