Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Thursday announced a strong 15-man squad for the three-match ODI series against Pakistan starting December 17.
South Africa’s frontline fast bowler Kagiso Rabada returns to the ODI team from 2023, along with hard-hitting batsmen David Miller and Henrik Klaasen.
Rabada’s last ODI for the Proteas men is the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, while Miller and Klaasen were last involved in the format in December 2023.
Also included in the squad is 18-year-old fast bowler Koena Mafaka, who earned his maiden ODI call-up after his impressive performance at the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup earlier this year, where he was named player of the tournament. was given
The right-arm fast bowler is also part of South Africa’s squad for the ongoing T20I series against Pakistan.
