Scotland is expected to be disrupted by heavy snow and sleet over the weekend.
A Yellow Warning for Snow is in effect in Shetland until 6:00 PM, while a Yellow Alert for Snowy Conditions in the Highlands is in effect from 4:00 PM Saturday until 10:00 AM Sunday.
A further heavy snow warning is in place for central and southern Scotland from midnight on Sunday until 06:00 on Monday.
The Met Office said the biggest risk would be in southern and eastern Scotland where up to 5cm of normal accumulation could occur, rising to 10 to 20cm on higher ground.
There is a high chance of rain or sleet near some northern and eastern coasts.
The forecaster said the conditions could lead to power outages and travel delays.
