Slash wishes his late stepdaughter’s 26th birthday after her death by suicide.

Slash honored his late stepdaughter, Lucy Blue Knight, on what would have been her 26th birthday five months after her tragic death.

Taking to his Instagram on Friday, December 6, Guns N’ Roses The guitarist posted two touching photos with the tribute, writing, “Happy birthday dear Lucy. Today we celebrate what would have been your 26th year in our hearts. We miss you so much it’s unbelievable.” Love you forever.”

One photo showed Lucy, a talented makeup artist, posing with a gray cat, while another showed her sitting at a table with Slash.

Lucy tragically died on July 19 at the age of 25, her death later ruled a suicide due to hydrogen sulfide poisoning.

The tragedy has left a deep impact on his family. Megan also paid tribute to her daughter during September’s Suicide Awareness Month, and urged others to make mental health awareness a priority.
