In chilling video obtained by Fox News Digital, Thompson is seen walking down a New York City sidewalk as a masked man walks up behind him wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and a bag covered in gloves. Raises a handgun from hands.

As he approaches Thompson, the man appears to struggle with the pistol, possibly firing another shot at the victim who is struggling to move.
