Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. said on Sunday that he couldn’t be happier. President-elect Trump Cabinet nominees say they will work to move them forward as soon as possible.
When Paul was asked during an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” if he would support all of Trump’s picks. His inner circle, “I couldn’t have made a better choice,” replied the senator.
“I will support the majority on the first day,” the senator said. “We will try to get Kristi Nome through the Department of Homeland Security. [Office of Management and Budget]. … I think in the first week you’ll have half a dozen of them approved in the first week.
Paul said he would control a committee to verify the nominations, adding, “I commit to complete them as soon as possible.”

Paul has said he will chair the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee when the new Congress begins in January.
