Sean Diddy Combs’ dreams have finally come true as the notorious singer has been given daily access to a laptop in prison.
The 55-year-old, who was arrested in September on charges of sex trafficking and fraud, had previously asked a judge to grant him access to prison.
His lawyers complained to a federal judge about the music mogul struggling to get access to a computer so he could communicate with his legal team.
Judge Arun Subramanian signed an order, ordering the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to provide access to the defendant effective immediately.
“MDC is ordered to provide access to the Discovery laptop seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,” the order signed by the judge states.
“It can be in the visiting room of his unit or in the VTC room of his unit.
“It is the court’s understanding that the laptop is preloaded with discovery materials, but does not permit any functionality other than reviewing those materials,” the order added.
This comes after lawyers requested that Comb be treated like his other inmates.
He argued that there is absolutely no justification for the restrictions imposed on the rapper.
