Sarah Ferguson made a meaningful decision to provide relief to King Charles, who was suffering from cancer.
For the uninitiated, the monarch hosted a pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace for important members of the royal family.
However, Sarah and her ex-husband Prince Andrew stepped back from royal engagement following the Duke’s latest spying scandal, which once again cast the firm in a bad light.
In conversation with GBroyal commentator Sarah Louise Robertson praised the Duchess of York’s decision to “keep a low profile” so as not to “embarrass the monarch further”.
“Sarah Ferguson herself said, let’s not protest, keep our heads down, let’s not cause any more embarrassment and trouble for the King and the rest of the royal family,” she shared.
“Obviously given what has come to light over the past week, Andrew has further embarrassed the King and the Royal Family, they have decided they should keep a low profile,” the royal expert said.
Furthermore, Sarah predicted that the ‘infamous Duke’ would not spoil the royal family’s Sandringham walkout with his presence.
“He’s going to be staying at the Royal Lodge with Sarah Ferguson, and their two daughters are spending Christmas with their in-laws,” she claimed.
It’s important to note that Sarah recently praised King Charles for being a ‘kind’ person.
Princess Beatrice and Eugenie’s mother said The Sunday Times“I’ve known King all my life and I absolutely adore him. He’s kind and makes me laugh, and I love that he still calls me Fergie.”
