Robert Pattinson has been lying during interviews for a long time, and for a fun reason.
The actor, known for his witty humor and penchant for spinning tall tales in press interviews, recently revisited another of his awkward moments from 2011.
Revisiting a television interview from that year, Twilight The star was reminded of a made-up story he shared during a promotional tour. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
In the interview, Pattinson claimed to have seen a Joker die in a car explosion as a child. Reflecting on the moment, he said New York Times Style Magazine“There was absolutely no hesitation. [in my voice]. I’m like, ‘What on earth? Are you occupied?”
Pattinson admits that make-up stories became a coping mechanism during her heyday. Twilight fame, as he was frequently asked frequent questions about celebrity life.
“The only thing people would ask me about was being famous,” he said. “You go into a fugo state.”
Some of Pattinson’s other wild stories included becoming a female hand model, taking a stalker to dinner, and filming a deleted cuprophilia scene for Twilight.
These outlandish stories, though completely false, were his way of injecting humor into the boredom that comes with a press tour.
