Rahul Priyanka hits out at Govt for not providing Manmohan Singh with memorial site for last rites

Dr. Manmun Singh’s last rites were to be performed today at Nigambud, a controversy arose over the non-provision of a memorial site by the All Government. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and MP from Wayanad Priyanka responded in a powerful reaction on the social media platform ‘X’. Both the leaders criticized the government and said that not providing a memorial place for Manmohan Singh’s last rites is their central position.

Rahul Rahul wrote in his message that ‘Mother’s great son and the first Prime Minister of the last family of Sikhs, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji Rikus today replaced the present government by ruling at Nigam Bodh Ghat. For a regional policy he is the Prime Minister of India, making the country an economic superpower in the past and today he is the support of the poor and backward classes.

Rahul Rahul further writes in this post that “Till today, rituals honoring the dignity of all former Prime Ministers have been performed at the Majaz Memorial so that everyone can pay their respects to anyone.” Dr. Manmohan Singh is our highest respected and remembered place. The government should respect this great son of the country and his outstanding performance.

On the other hand, Priyanka’s funeral has written in its message that “By not providing a suitable place for former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh Kemat, the government has destroyed the dignity of the former Prime Minister, the personality of Manmohan Singh, his legacy and independence.” Justice has not been done to the unique Sikhs. Earlier all former Prime Ministers were given high honor and respect. Dr. Manmohan Singh is the founder and beneficiary of the memorial. Today the whole world remembers his services. The government should think beyond the narrow view of politics.

Priyanka also wrote that this morning Dr. Manmohan Singh’s family members try to attack their place in the cremation ghat, causing problems to the general public due to lack of space. While paying homage to him from the outside nation, it was felt that the government should give him the necessary sleep.
