Queen Camilla’s son has expressed concern amid reports of his ‘total devastation’

Queen Camilla’s resilience has been revealed once again as her son Tom Parker Bowles shares insight into his recent health challenges.

The queen, who has been recovering from pneumonia since returning from a royal tour of Australia and Samoa, has resumed her duties before the recommendation, according to her eldest son.

“She went back to work earlier than she should have, but she’s fine,” Tom revealed.

“She is strict and absolutely hates missing things like Memorial Sunday, which is a very important day for her.”

The 49-year-old food writer and critic praised her mother’s work ethic, stressing that her role as queen has enhanced her already diligent style.

“She works harder now than ever,” he noted.

Speaking candidly, the Queen’s son revealed that while his mother has taken on an even heavier workload since stepping up to her new role, her unwavering dedication has not changed.

“Nothing has really changed about her except her workload,” shared Parker Bowles, noting that he often learns from watching her royal tours abroad on television.

Despite battling a chest infection following the royal visit, Camilla returned to work earlier than advised – a decision driven by her deep sense of duty.

He revealed that his absence from the recent Remembrance Sunday service, which means so much to him, left him “absolutely devastated”.

“It’s a very important day for him, and it was incredibly difficult to miss it.”

The family’s struggles go beyond the Queen’s health, as King Charles continues to receive treatment for cancer, which he was diagnosed with earlier this year.

Despite the diagnosis, Parker Bowles confirmed that the king is responding well to treatment. “Doctors say it’s going well,” he offered reassurance about the king’s progress.

Reflecting on the challenges, the author of the diet acknowledges the profound impact of recent events. “The older you get, the more conscious you become of mortality, especially when dealing with illnesses.” The Daily Telegraph.
