Blockbuster ‘Pushpaa’ star Rashmika Mandana was injured during a fitness session at a gym, temporarily halting the shooting schedule of three major films.
According to Indian media reports, the 28-year-old actress, who recently shot to fame for her roles in ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Animal’, was training when the accident happened.
Mandana’s upcoming projects include ‘Sikander’ opposite Salman Khan and ‘Chhawa’ opposite Vicky Kaushal. Both productions, along with another undisclosed project, have been delayed as a result of his injury.
People close to Mandana said that she is recovering and feeling better. He added that doctors have advised him to take a short break to ensure full recovery before resuming his work commitments.
Pushpa 2 will release a reloaded version with 20 additional minutes of footage.
The makers of Pushpa 2: The Roll have announced the release of a reloaded version, which will include an additional 20 minutes of footage. The extended version will hit theaters from January 11, 2025.

In a social media post on January 7, the production house behind the film, Mythri Movie Makers, confirmed the update.
The announcement was accompanied by a new poster featuring Allu Arjun’s character Pushpraj. The caption reads, “Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION WITH 20 MINUTES OF EXTRA FOOTAGE WILL BE IN THEATER FROM JANUARY 11. WILDFIRE GETS EXTRA FIRE.”
Pushpa 2 continues the story of Pushparaj, a small-time sandalwood smuggler who becomes one of the most feared gangsters.
Along with Allu Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandana, Fahadh Faisal, and others in pivotal roles. Fahad Faisal plays the antagonist, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, who wants to take revenge on Pushparaj.
While Pushpa 2 has already made its mark, the film’s producers have hinted at the possibility of a third installment, Pushpa 3: The Rampage, set to continue the story.
The reloaded version will only be shown in theaters for a limited time, with no plans for an OTT release before the 56-day window.
