PTCL’s statement came a day after the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said that a fault in the submarine cable AAE-1 near Qatar had caused disruptions to internet and broadband users. may face.
The PTA said that a malfunction was reported in submarine cable AAE-1 near Qatar, which is one of the seven international submarine cables connecting Pakistan for international internet traffic.
It added, “Regarding teams are working to rectify the fault. PTA is monitoring the situation and will keep updating telecom customers accordingly.”
