Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has set a new record by crossing the historical milestone of 113,213 points for the first time.
In a brilliant start to the trading session, the stock market witnessed a sharp rise of 1400 points in just half an hour. The KSE 100 index gained 1,467 points, touching a record 112,277 points.
Earlier, the PSX achieved another milestone shortly after the market opened, with the index climbing 1,200 points in just 15 minutes. The KSE 100 index closed up 1,231 points at 112,041 points.
In another example of record-breaking performance, PSX saw a whopping 1,000-point spike in just 10 minutes. The KSE-100 index rose 1,100 points to 111,911 points, reclaiming 111,000 points and marking its all-time high.
The PSX’s strong performance highlights strong investor confidence and significant market momentum, positioning it as an important indicator of economic optimism.
