Princess Beatrice received a huge honor during her Christmas trip to Sandringham with the royal family.
For the uninitiated, the Princess of York was reportedly meant to celebrate with her in-laws amid her father Prince Andrew’s spying scandal.
Later, Beatrice was advised by her doctors to avoid traveling as she is expecting her second child with her husband Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Sarah Ferguson’s daughter joined the royal family during the church procession where she stood right behind Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Speaking about the special nod to the mother-to-be from King Charles, royal expert Robert Hardman told the Daily Mail that the gesture shows Beatrice’s importance in the royal circle.
He shared, “Once again, the Dukes of York and Sussex were nowhere to be seen, although Prince Andrew must have been delighted to see the importance given to his eldest daughter Princess Beatrice at Sandringham yesterday.”
“She and her husband lined up alongside Wales as they left the church, a subtle reminder that she remains in the top 10 in the royal line of succession,” added Robert.
The king is said to have given Beatrice a crucial opportunity to apparently save her father from further decline.
It is important to mention that the Duke of York has once again embarrassed the royal family by being involved with an alleged spy. Moreover, he is also discussing the Royal Lodge with his cancer-stricken brother.
