Prince William has delighted royal fans with an interesting update after several setbacks for the royal family.
The Prince of Wales recently joined the Royal Geographical Society to launch the 2025 Jewel of Arabia campaign with Omani Crown Prince Tiazien bin Haitham.
William, who is the patron of the campaign, shared that “the campaign will celebrate the outstanding young people tackling environmental challenges.”
Notably, the prince, who last visited Oman in 2019, said he was “in the process of planning” his future trip to the Middle Eastern country.
According to The mirror“I just got a chance to see some of the photos from the RGS collection and they bring back memories of my visit to Oman in 2019,” the future king said at the event.
William said the upcoming campaign will help highlight “Oman’s rich biodiversity and natural heritage”. Moreover, this meaningful initiative is “a symbol of the enduring friendship between our two countries.”
“The expedition will follow the footsteps of British explorer Bertram Thomas and take him to Oman’s magnificent coastline. He will be able to see the beauty of Oman as well as the damage caused by climate change,” he added.
It’s important to note that William gave this cheery update after a security breach at Windsor Castle.
What’s more, Queen Camilla also suffered health problems after King Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer battle, much to the dismay of the royal family.
