Prince William and Kate Middleton are apparently changing their plans for Christmas this year as the royal family makes a big new change.
The Prince of Wales, who previously revealed that the annual royal gathering will draw 45 guests, is planning something ‘special’ after Kate and her father King Charles have had a brutal year since being diagnosed with cancer.
According to royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliam, William and Kate will find “a sense of unity and togetherness, which is unique to Christmas, by being with those who love and wish them well”.
However, despite his dislike, William would not be happy to see a family member at the annual gathering.
Earlier, Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker-Bowles, shared that he was planning to attend his first Christmas with his family – ex-wife and children – at his mother’s insistence.
Meanwhile, royal courtiers fear what will happen at the gathering as Prince William can’t even stand his half-brother’s presence.
“It’s best to avoid mentioning Tom around William,” an insider shared, adding that the future king “hates” his half-brother.
Palace sources expressed concern over how he would handle the difficult situation and stress.
It is suspected that William may make his plans with Kate and her family at Anmer Hall. If Tom shows up, he may spend more time at the rival party then the one held at the castle.
