The book sent shock waves through the monarchy, particularly with its crude portrayal of Harry’s relationship with Prince William.
Since then, the brothers have barely exchanged words, and Princess Kate isn’t exactly on comfortable terms with Harry either.
In 2024, the couple seemed to be quietly slipping away from the royal spotlight.
Harry and Meghan developed two distinct strategies: First, the couple embarked on international tours reflecting royal engagements but without the crown, visiting places like Nigeria and Colombia, where they tackled key issues; Harry took part in the Invictus Games.
Then came the ‘professional separation’ – Harry and Meghan’s way of carving their own paths.
While Meghan has held solo exhibitions in California and New York, Harry has embarked on solo tours internationally, including the UK, South Africa and Canada, and continues to independently support his own causes.
