The arrest was made in connection with a petition filed by the housing society’s chief executive officer in the Supreme Court last year, alleging that Hamid had seized land and stolen valuables from a private housing society owner during a raid. was charged.

After Hamid’s arrest in connection with the same housing scheme case, three more retired officers were also taken into military custody.
