Pete Davidson reveals what the Saturday Night Live cast is ‘paid’.

As Saturday Night Live Celebrating its 50th season, several past and present cast members have spoken about their experiences on the legendary comedy series, including how they spent their first paycheck.

In a video shared on New York MagazineOn Instagram Dec. 4, Davidson, who spent eight seasons. SNL Before heading into 2022, the comic reflected modest earnings.

“Do you guys know what they pay us?” Pete, 31, joked to the camera. “It’s like three grand episodes, so I think I’ve had dinner.”

Jason Sudeikis, a nine-season cast member who also spent two years as a writer, supported Pete’s claim about the limited budget.

“I mean, you don’t really make enough money to make big purchases,” he revealed. “So, I think the New York rental was probably the biggest purchase I’ve made since the first year I wrote on *SNL*.”

Other cast members reminisced about the more substantial costs.

Seth Meyers, James Austin Johnson, and Cheri Oteri mentioned furniture as their purchases. Meanwhile, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bowen Yang admitted to treating themselves to designer shoes.

“Going across the street to Saks, buying a pair of Gucci shoes,” shared Bowen. “The kind that everybody has, and the kind that I don’t feel too cool to wear anymore.”
