ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) met Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday.
The delegation included Ejaz-ul-Haq, Kazim Khan, Mohsin Bilal Khan, Muhammad Ali Butt and Ejaz Bhatta.
The delegation apprised FBR Chairman Rashid Mehmood Langriyal and Member Inland Revenue Policy Dr. Najeeb Memon about the difficulties and complications faced by the broadcasting industry due to the abolition of the facility of sales tax withholding adjustment from the online sales tax return form.
The delegation also told the FBR that the change in the FBR portal was causing an extraordinary financial burden on the broadcasting industry.
Chairman FBR directed the concerned officers to immediately resolve the issue arising out of change in sales tax return form on the online portal.
The PBA delegation thanked Chairman FBR and his team for saving the industry from financial loss.
