This letter refers to the editorial ‘PTI’s chaos curve’ (25 November 2024). The problem is that the state seems reluctant to take action against the senior leadership of the party after these violent marches. The important question is why did they march on the capital when foreign dignitaries were visiting Pakistan?
Is it necessary to march on Islamabad to draw attention to their demands? The party has lost support in the country (except in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where it is slowly becoming unpopular). Why isn’t the same amount of time, money and energy being spent on solving the problems facing the people of this province?
