ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy ship Maaween visited Mombasa, Kenya where it set up a free medical camp.
On arrival at the port of Mombasa, the PNS delegation was warmly welcomed by the local authorities. Pak Navy surgeons and medical experts provided free medical advice, treatment and medicines to the patients at the camp. It was widely appreciated by the local people, who benefited from the high quality medical care provided.
The Commanding Officer of PNS Mowain, who met with Commander Kenya Navy, Major General Paul Over Otieno and other local government officials, discussed issues of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
He conveyed Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s best wishes to the people of Kenya and thanked the host Navy and the local community for their support.
The visit and establishment of the medical camp will be a testament to Pakistan Navy’s spirit of goodwill and commitment to provide essential medical services to the needy communities.
