Rawalpindi: Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Salman Akram Raja has said on Monday that there is no connection between the negotiations and the 190 million pound case, he said that the party will not do any deal.
Imran’s founding party ruled out the possibility of a “deal” in the context of an ongoing negotiation process with the government, after a court again postponed an expected verdict in a corruption case against the former prime minister.
Responding to concerns raised by repeated delays, Raja said while talking to the media outside Adiala Jail that the third round of talks is likely to take place on January 15.
However, he clarified that “if anyone wants to give an impression that the decision has been delayed due to these negotiations, it is completely wrong”.

Raja added that there are no other reasons and PTI is not seeking relief for anyone.
PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, who accompanied Raja at the media talk, also dismissed questions on whether the postponement of the verdict was part of a deal.
Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed expressed his displeasure over the non-appearance of the accused while delaying the announcement of the corruption case, also known as the Al-Qadir Trust case, this morning. Now it will be announced on January 17.
