The name of the youth who was killed by a knife in the village has been revealed by the police.
Twana Choroma, 19, was found injured in Station Road, Netley shortly before 18:30 GMT on Wednesday and pronounced dead at the scene, Hampshire Police said.
There are three 18-year-old men from the Southampton area. Arrested on suspicion of murderone of them was also arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property.
A police spokesman said: “Towana’s family are currently being supported by specialist officers.”
A 36-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but was not being prosecuted for the offence, the force said.
The woman was also arrested on charges of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to supply Class B drugs and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He has been released on bail.
The spokesperson urged local residents to check their mobile phone boxes that may have been discarded nearby.
