Yangon: An ethnic minority armed group in Myanmar has executed six people after a public trial in an enclave it controls near the border with China, media affiliated with the group said on Friday.
On Thursday, 14 people were prosecuted by the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) for kidnapping, extortion and murder.
Photos showed the suspect in a matching blue tracksuit being held in front of a crowd of about 1,000 people in the city of Laokai, about five kilometers from China’s Yunnan province.
