Michael Bolton has shared his first. The family Pictured since his diagnosis was announced Brain cancer.
The 71-year-old singer took to Facebook on Christmas Day (Wednesday) to share a picture of himself with his family after a year. “Quick surgery” to treat brain tumors.
“Sending warm wishes for a holiday season filled with peace, love, and joy. May the New Year bring health, happiness, and countless moments of, “How will I live without you?” The singer wrote. “New beginnings and beautiful moments of 2025 are here!”
The photo shows her sitting on the couch with her four loved ones in holiday-themed pajamas.
In front of a Christmas tree and a pile of presents, Bolton wore a black hoodie over his white and red pajama shirt. He also had gray sweatpants and a red Santa hat.
Bolton is the father of three adult daughters—Isa, Holly and Taryn—whom he shares with ex-wife Maureen McGuire.
In January, Bolton First revealed on Facebook. That he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in late 2023. He also said that he is taking a break from performing live.
“Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which was urgently needed. Surgery” he wrote at the time. “Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success. I am now recovering at home and surrounded by the overwhelming love and support of my family.
“For the next two months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery which means I will have to take a temporary break from touring,” he continued. “Disappointing my fans or postponing a show is always the hardest thing for me, but I have no doubt that I am working hard to speed up my recovery and perform soon.”
Two months later, she shared an update on her health. Bet on Facebookrevealing that he is “healing well and doing better” every day.
“I’m currently at home enjoying the company of my daughters and granddaughters, and putting in the green whenever it’s not raining!” Bolton wrote in March. “Thank you all so much for your kind messages and I hope to see you soon!! MB…with lots of time, love and kindness.
