It looks like Meghan Markle is off to a great start as she’s checking off big things from her bucket list following her long-awaited return to Instagram.
The Duchess of Sussex dropped her first post from her account (@Meghan) on Wednesday, in which she can be seen rocking the beach in a white dress. In the video clip, which was filmed by husband Prince Harry, Meghan writes ‘2025’ in the sand for the New Year.
When the video was posted on the account, it was not verified by the social media platform. However, in less than 24 hours, the account received a blue tick.
Meghan immediately gained 694K followers on the new account with special nods from her A-Lister pals including Serena Williams, Chrissy Teigen, Kris Jenner, Oprah Winfrey.
The Duchess previously hinted at her return to social media during a 2023 interview with The Cut, revealing she was eager to get back on social media.
Late last year, Prince Harry and Meghan apparently began their ‘professional separation’ amicably as they pursued their individual projects.
