Metropolitan police staff have voted to go on strike when working in the office.
A Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) belt showed tremendous support for industrial action, 85 % of members who said yes to the strike proceedings and 91 % of voting for a lower strike action –
The PCS said that after the managers changed a current deal related to the mixed work, it showed the depth of feeling, which allows the staff to work from home for a week.
The union says the new policy needs to work in the office between 60 % and 100 %, it will affect 2,400 people who support the daily work of police officers.
The PCS said that this policy has a neutral impact of women, part -time workers and women with disabilities.
According to the union, this is the first time that police personnel voted in favor of industrial action.

PCS general secretary France Heathkot said: “Our members are not a bobby on the bat.
“He is a desk -based ordinary citizen who works so fruitful from home as he is in the office, but without daily travel pressure and cost.”
He added: “Now is the time that politicians and right -wing media stopped their obsession with telling people where they have to work and listen to the evidence of experts, employers and employees who work from home. Doing it is a viable option for many people. “
