Mariah Carey recently admitted that there can only be one diva and that is none other than Rihanna.
Last week, Mariah revealed that she was happy to see Rihanna in the Brooklyn crowd at one of her Christmastime tour concerts.
Reflecting on the special moment, Maria said people That she descended back into the crowd and there she saw Umbrella hitmaker as he autographed his chest.
“I was like, ‘You can’t call me a diva again because I’m literally walking down the stairs,'” the pop star said.
Speaking about her interaction with Rihanna, Mariah said, “It was hilarious.”
“I heard Rihanna was coming to the show, but I didn’t think she was going to be in the actual crowd. She was fun,” the 55-year-old said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Mariah revealed that she’s not sick of Christmas songs.
“I’m in Spain, and ‘Oh, Santa’ is playing over the speakers, and I’m like, ‘I guess I’m not sick of it,'” she commented.
Maria added that she has no plans to stop her Christmas shows anytime soon.
“It’s probably something I’ll always do,” the singer continued.
However, Maria advised, “I just need to schedule it a little differently because this year I got sick from being out too long.”
Meanwhile, the singer discussed her once-lost grunge album, adding, “People are asking me about it, and it’s something I love so much.”
“And we could see it in 2025, maybe a little later,” he concluded.
